Icon Aerospace Technology Website Architecture v1

Victoria Works, Retford, England September 3, 2026 44 Pages | 5 Hubs | 30 Detail | 2 Conversion | 6 Utility Homepage wireframe in review · feedback via the on-page widget

Top-level navigation ratified on the 3 Sep bi-weekly (Dan · Vaishali · Kaymen): lead with what we make (Products & Solutions) → where it works (Applications) → who it's for (Industries) → how it's engineered (Engineering) → who you're talking to (About). Primary CTA sitewide: Talk to an Engineer. Applications and Products stay separate sections — a duct is a product; environmental control is the application it serves.

Also ratified 3 Sep: no "Integrated Polymer Solutions" reference anywhere (all BUs) · phone number out of the header util bar (email/form capture preferred; number stays in the footer) · "since 1863" appears once, on the trust bar — the hero carries 150+ years · Visit Retford → Visit ICON · Resources section removed for now — bespoke work has few datasheets today; it returns when the technical library exists. Slugs are indicative pending final IA.

Conversion Persistent CTAs — not a nav section

Talk to an Engineer · Request a Quote · the Bespoke Component Brief

/contact/ · /request-a-quote/ · /bespoke-component-brief/

CTA hierarchy ratified 3 Sep: Talk to an Engineer (primary — bespoke work starts with a problem, not a drawing) · Request a Quote (make-to-print fast lane) · the Brief (transitional, email-only download with a clear next action)
The Talk to an Engineer form asks "What are you bringing?" — a drawing routes to the RFQ path; a gap routes to an engineering call or visit; a platform in service routes to lifecycle support. Every form feeds Edge.

Utility strip (above header nav): For Procurement · Suppliers (NR5000) · Contact. Phone number removed 3 Sep — it lives in the footer. Floating CTA sitewide: Talk to an Engineer.

Homepage Flow · ratified 3 Sep

Homepage — 10 sections

Make Icon legible to a platform engineer in ten seconds: the part that almost fits is the villain, engineering it together is the plan, and first-time qualification is the proof. Wireframe live for review — Home V1 is the working flow; Home V2 is the alternate treatment.

01 · Hero (150+ yrs · 100% first-time · 6 wks → 1) 02 · Trust bar (the one "since 1863") 03 · Problems We Solve 04 · Products & Solutions 05 · Engineering Difference 06 · face2face Engineering 07 · Applications 08 · Platform Proof (100% first-time fire-test record) 09 · Why Engage ICON Early 10 · Final CTA + the Brief

Off the homepage (3 Sep): the heritage strip (→ About/Heritage) · the industries grid (→ nav + footer) · the standalone "Two other ways in" panel (Brief folded into the final CTA) · the FAQ · technical resources — the Resources section returns when the asset library does.
